What is a CANstructure?&nbsp;A canstructure is a unique work of art that is created by collecting hundreds of canned food items, which are then used to design and build a 3-dimensional structure that relates to this year’s theme:&nbsp;Oh, the Places You'll Go! Teams in grades K-12 are invited to design and build CANstructures that will help feed vulnerable members of our community while bringing awareness to the issue of food insecurity. A CANstructure is a unique work of art that is created by collecting hundreds—sometimes thousands!—of canned food items, which are then used to engineer a 3-dimensional structure that relates to this year’s theme, "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" Middle and high school students will build and present their structures at Patrick Henry Mall on Saturday, April 26th; elementary teams will present their CANstructures at their schools the week prior. Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads CANstructure Competition

Walk This Way and become a Patrick Henry Mall - Mall Walker! Mall&nbsp;doors open at 10am for Mall Walkers, Monday through Saturday, and at 11am on Sundays.&nbsp; Mile Marker signs are located throughout the mall indicating 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 3/4 mile, and 1 mile, with the starting sign on the column near Watch &amp; Jewelry Repair. Feel free to stop by the&nbsp;Mall&nbsp;Management Office Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm to pick up a Mall Walker map and pedometer.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Mall&nbsp;Management Office is located down the hall between Foot Locker and Claire's.
